Director-band and other employees who incur regular business related expenses should apply for the Citibank Visa Corporate Card (note that Mastercard is being replaced by Visa during 2015). The Citibank Visa Corporate Card is the required method of payment for all NBCUniversal business-related travel and expenses. To request a card or a change in credit limit refer to http://travel.nbcuni.com. [then click local country flag at the top right of the screen in the portal]
The employee is personally responsible for all charges applied on the Card. Fees related to “rewards” programs and special promotions are considered personal and will also not be reimbursed. The Citibank Corporate Card may not be used for any non-NBCUniversal business expenses
Cash advances are not permitted on any Corporate Card. If you require a cash advance you must seek prior written approval from the International CFO. Certain NBC News employees are permitted cash advances.
Employees must report suspected fraudulent transactions on the Card immediately to both the local Corporate Card administrator and local HR. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.
Employees are strongly discouraged from using the Corporate credit card for any nonreimbursable personal expenses (refer to items Personal Expenses Section 6.7 for further details).
Corporate Cards will automatically be blocked where there are expenses which are unassigned or unsubmitted in Concur aged greater than 60 days from the date of the transaction. Corporate Cards will also automatically be blocked in the event the expense has been submitted and pending manager approval for greater than 30 days from the time of submission. It is the responsibility of the employee to follow-up with their line-manager to gain approval for submitted expenses. Reminder emails will be sent during the periods which the items are aged in order to urge the employee to submit their claims.
Purchase cards (“P-cards”) are not to be used for travel and expenses.
